Baku Alley
After watching the exhilarating Azerbaijan Grand Prix, I found myself deeply inspired by the unique designs of the Baku street circuit. This artistic inspiration led me to envision what the old-world cobblestone streets might look like, particularly considering the fascinating architecture that lies beneath the smooth, paved track of the Grand Prix. My goal was to create a base that seamlessly complements both the vintage style of a GTA Alfa and yet would work the iconic FB RX-7 or a car from the modern era. This meticulously crafted base captures the enchanting old-world charm of the Baku circuit, allowing you to imagine your car model elegantly parked on a charming curb just around the corner from where the thrilling action of the race unfolds. This unique display will not only enhance your model's visual appeal at any model show but also help it pop brilliantly in your glass case at home, drawing admiration from all who see it.
This was also a perfect kit to introduce my 83’ GSL wheels for the FB in 1/24 scale also available on my store.
*RX-7 car kit not included, shown for size reference. Paint and finishing supplies not included. Finished part shown for reference only. I’m sure you can do better.
**Last image is of the London Street series base but is to show the basic state of how these look after a single coat of primer. Not actual Baku Alley base.
1/24 scale size is 19 cm X 11 cm X 1.8 cm or 7.48 in X 4.3 in X 0.7 in

Printed in resin and shipped unpainted and ready for finish sanding and primer., As with all resin an really all kits some prep work may be needed to meet your desired results including but not limited to sanding and filling and priming. I make every effort to make the paint and visible side free from printing support marks hiding them on the bottom. I used Tamiya Acrylics and AK interactive pigments and washes to create this effect and added some real leaves cut from real leaves using the AK leaf stamp in 1/35 along with some leaf debris ground up for the gutter “trash”.
